FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
All paper products used in producing every print is 100% cotton, acid-free, lignen-free and pH neutral. The inks are pigments with exceptional standards of longevity. In fact, lab testing has shown these materials provide a print life exceeding that of silver-halide black and white RC prints and all traditional color printing methods. Each print is guaranteed against any signs of image degradation (i.e. fading, discoloration) for a minimum of 100 years when displayed indoors either under UV glazing* or away from direct sources of sunlight.
Whether color or black and white, our photographic prints have been meticulously printed by Fred Halvorson in order to combine the highest possible aesthetic standards with archival stability. Photographs are vulnerable to both light and moisture and should be handled with extreme care. If you choose not to purchase one of our frames, we recommend that ultra-violet absorbing glass or acrylic is used when framing and that the photographs are not exposed to direct sunlight, unfiltered fluorescent lamps or the heat of incandescent bulbs. Ideal environmental conditions are between 68¼ and 72¼ F and between 44% and 55% humidity.
Our frames include non-glare, Conservation "Acrylite" glazing that filters out 98% of damaging UV light and available in matte or clear.
